Fees
We are able to provide a range of fees for our virtual and in person services and they are based on the experience and credentials of your provider. A sliding scale is available and is based upon your combined gross household income and number of dependents under 18 years. Our therapists offer a number of time-limited low fee spots on their case loads to qualifying clients - please ask your therapist or our administrative staff for more information. BAIC does not offer free counseling at this time. Our fees are based on 45-60 minute sessions. Please refer to your individual therapist’s practice policies for further details.
Payment
Cash and all major credit cards are accepted via Ivypay, Square pay, or other payment services. Payment is due at the time of service.
Insurance
Two of our providers do not bill insurance directly, however services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. Nathan Villarante, LMFT is currently able to see patients under the following insurance carriers: Aetna, Optum, United Healthcare, Anthem Blue Cross, and MHN. For out of network care: all therapists are able to provide you with a “superbill” receipt for each session for you to submit to your insurance carrier for reimbursement. Payment is due at the time of service. Please contact your insurance career beforehand and check your coverage carefully and consider asking the following questions:
What type of plan do I have (e.g., HMO, PPO, EPO, etc.)?
Does my insurance cover services for an out of network provider?
What is my deductible and has it been met?
How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
What is my co-pay responsibility per session?
Cancellation Policy
We require at least 24 hours advance notice for cancellations - the full cost of the session may be due for late cancellations or no-shows.
