Nathan Villarante, LMFT
Board Chair
Nathan Villarante founded Bay Area Integrative Counseling in 2015 out of the desire to address some of the biggest unmet needs in the mental health field for both the community at large and the practitioners that serve them. As a licensed MFT therapist in practice since 2011, Nathan has a background in working with people that are experiencing highly acute mental illness. He takes both a holistic and evidence based approach to treatment, employing Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Emotions Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness modalities. In doing so, he procures a new therapy for each new client. He is looking forward to executing new and exciting programs the organization.
Vadim Rosengurt, MAEd
Board Treasurer
Vadim was born in Odessa, Ukraine and immigrated to the US in 1978 at the age of 3. He grew up in San Francisco with an interest in the natural world of the outdoors. With a BA in Health Science from John F. Kennedy University Vadim followed up with an MBA at JFKU, a graduate degree in education, and a certificate in permaculture from Merritt College. Since the beginning of 2012 Vadim has been working as a nutrition consultant/advocate at the grass roots level, educating people to the idea of optimizing their nutrition protocols. His most recent venture involves the founding of a company called "Nucleus Nutrition", which specializes in defensive nutrition practices and holistic health at the cellular level. His life purpose and mantra is: "Truth, Love and Freedom". He believes that every human being is created to thrive.
Jonathan Wanlass, MA
Board Secretary
Jonathan studied psychology as an undergrad and went on to attain his MA in Consciousness & Transformative Studies at John F. Kennedy University. He is a life coach and the creator, founder, and facilitator of the Loosh Dialogue group experience, a way to enhance and deepen interpersonal communication and emotional intimacy.
